Social Dialogue in the Sport and Active Leisure Sector:

IMPLEMENT, AFFILIATE, CREATE (IMPACT)

EHFA is pleased to be a partner in this project which is funded by the European Commission.

Using the results of both the RBT project ("Reinforce the representativeness of the social partners in the sport sector: Row the BoaT project") and the CC-project (“Moving forward towards European social dialogue in the sport sector: Content and Contact project”), the IMPACT project aims to further reinforce the representativeness of EASE while continuing to prepare with UNI Europa Sport the official European social dialogue in the sport and active leisure sector, including the sub-sectors not-for-profit sport, active leisure and professional sport.

The project started in July 2010 and will run until 30thJune 2011.

Structure

The project activities are developed through 3 levels of social dialogue and the 3 identified sub-sectors:

  • Level 1: European social dialogue

  • Level 2: Social dialogue at national level but NO affiliation to EASE

  • Level 3: NO social dialogue at national level & NO affiliation to EASE

 

Specific objectives

Each of the level follows one specific objective:

  • Objective Level 1ðTo continue to prepare with UNI Europa Sport for the official European social dialogue in the sport and active leisure sector as a follow-up of the CC-project

  • Objective Level 2ðTo affiliate to EASE national and European employer organisations identified through the RBT and CC projects

  • Objective Level 3ðTo initiate the creation of national employer organisations

Strategic partners

3 national employer organisations which are Full Members of EASE:

  • Arbetsgivaralliansen (Sweden) is in charge of the professional sport part of the level 2,

  • SkillsActive (UK) is responsible for the active leisure part of the level 2,

  • the WOS (NL)is responsible for the level 3of the project.
